As part of the Cylch team, Sarah is heavily involved in the development of community recyclers – combining business, environment and social aspects.


Sarah took part in a Social Accounting and Audit training programme delivered for Cylch by SAN UK in 2005, and became an approved Social Audit Chair in February 2008. She is the Regional Co-ordinator for Wales and was a SAN Director between 2006 and 2010.


Sarah has been involved in delivering training and support on Social Accounting and Audit since 2005, has given presentations across the UK and in Europe and has even taught MSc students in Swansea. She led the Cylch team in the production of their own social accounts.


Sarah is a member of the senior management team at Cylch, and has been with the organisation since 2003. She previously gained experience in environmental management including ISO14001 and the Green Dragon Award, starting her 'career' path as a volunteer many years ago, she has also undertaken a secondment to the Welsh Assembly Government, working to develop the new waste strategy for Wales.
