Friday 13 November at Blackburne House, Liverpool Accounting, Reporting and Measuring – how does it all add up?
This year's Social Audit Network Conference was focused on whether everything can or should be measured when using triple bottom-line accounting to demonstrate externally-verified social, environmental and economic impacts.
Experienced practitioners of social accounting and social reporting came from around the world to share understanding and to grapple with some of the key questions facing the social economy sector and its funders.

Sue Sadler writes: A fabulous event at Blackburne House in Liverpool brought together a range of social enterprises, social accounting and audit practicionersfrom around the world. Contributions were stimulating and really challenged the assertion that 'all impact assessment is fiction'.There was something for everyone and from almost everywhere, from practical examples of value measurement from Canada, social audit clusters in India and public audit in Nepal.
